Welcome to Lazy D Farm, a family farm located in Ball Ground, Georgia. We currently raise Jacob sheep but also have Boer goats and Angora rabbits.

We host “Sheep to Shawl” in April. We invite you to come see the sheep get a hair cut or “sheared”. Members of the Appalachian Heritage Guild demonstrate their old time skills and lifestyles of the Southern Appalachian culture along with historical artifacts for educational purposes.

Spinning Wool, Blacksmithing, Treadle Lathe Wood Turning, Wood Carving, Candle Making, Old time Laundry, Quilting, Sewing, Chair Canning,Natural Dying, Book Binding and more.
