Welcome to Lazy D Farm, a family farm located in Ball Ground, Georgia. We currently raise Jacob sheep but also have Boer goats and Angora rabbits.

We are scheduling classes for 2011 for Rigid Heddle Weaving, Spinning and Felting.

Bring the Family for a great educational experience to the farm.  We host our annual “Sheep to Shawl” event in April.   Sheep to Shawl for 2011 will be held April 9, 2011, so mark your calendar.  We invite you to come see the sheep shearing demonstrations.  Step back in time with Members of the Appalachian Heritage Guild demonstrating old time skills and lifestyles of the Southern Appalachian culture along with historical artifacts for educational purposes.   See our Image Gallery for past Sheep To Shawl pictures.
